Northview honors the Class of 2020

Northview faculty take on special ways to honor this year’s seniors.

Stadium lights and the Titan score board stay lit up for 20 minutes on April 20 at 8:20 p.m..

Principal Brian Downey and Athletic Director Scotty McDaniel went to the Northview stadium on April 20 at 8:20 p.m., 20:20 in military time, for 20 minutes to light up the field in honor of the Class of 2020. Along with the lights, the Titan score board also featured the number 20 multiple times. Due to the unfortunate events of the pandemic, seniors have lost months of memories at the end of their last year of high school. Downey addressed the seniors on Twitter in the video below:

McDaniel recently interviewed with11Alive news in a segment to honor the athletes of the Class of 2020. He mentioned every spring sport that has lost the rest of their season due to the pandemic. Watch the video below:
