The Fulton County Board of Education met for their monthly board meeting on Feb. 20, 2024.
Milton High School received athletic recognitions.

District 2 Board Member Lillie Pozatek announces that Alpharetta High School won the State Fencing Championship.
Board Vice President and District 5 Board Member Kristin McCabe recognizes the Northview Mock Trial Team’s success at Forsyth County Courthouse winning 1st and 3rd place. Both teams will advance to the next level. McCabe proceeds to name the individual awards. She thanks Innovation Academy students who helped at the Medlock Bridge Elementary CTAE night.
Board President and District 6 Board Member Kimberly Dove notes that there will be many Black History Month events in high schools and middle schools.
Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney explains that the Annual Perception Survey is available and asks for stakeholders to fill it out. Looney mentions the security security investments and the tip line.
