FCBOE Work Session- December

The Fulton County Board of Education met for their monthly board meeting at 4 p.m. Dec. 14, 2022.

Chief Academic Officer Cliff Jones presents items. 

6.01 (Banking resolution) carries unanimously.

6.02 (Employee travel report) carries unanimously.

6.03 (Financial Report) is not complete, so it will be presented in January.

Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney applauds the fact that 7 schools are no longer on the state comprehensive list. 

Board Vice President and District 6 Board Member Kimberly Dove previously re-elected for the next term. 

New members will hold office starting January 1st, 2023.

District 2 Board Member Katie Reeves plans to retire. 

District 5 Board Member Linda McCain holds her last board meeting today. 

District 3 Board Member Gail Dean plans to retire. 

District 1 Board Member Katha Stuart looks forward to working with the new members and wishes luck to the retiring members.
