Eowynn Miller
(She/Her)

Eowynn is a sophomore and new staff member who is excited to write! Her love for books and writing dates back to before kindergarten. She believes that writing is a way for minorities to be heard. This idea originated from the book They Both Die in the End where she first felt heard by the LGBTQ+ characters, as she is bisexual. After developing Tourette’s, she continued to feel heard by these characters as one has tics that are similar to hers. As a new writer for the messenger she aims to bring voices to minorities and help them feel heard.

In her free time, Katelyn can be found “practicing” piano, undergoing photosynthesis, and spam-texting friends.

Natalie Damer-Salas
(She/Her)

Natalie loves all types of crafting or DIY projects (which often results in a very cluttered room). She plays tennis and piano and has recently become a dog owner. Natalie loves spending her weekends reading historical fiction, biking, going to coffee shops with her friends, and watching the "British Baking Show" (while attempting to mimic every accent of course:). Natalie loves listening to music when doing anything with her current favorite artists being Wallows, Djo, and Dominic Fike and is open to any and all music recommendations.

Nethra Pai

Nethra is a sophomore excited to explore journalism with the Messenger. She probably talks too much and definitely does too much for one person, but she loves to draw and will still “enhance” any blank sheet of paper lying around.

Remi Munye
(He/Him)

Remi is currently a senior in The Messenger and is excited to be a part of the team. It's been his passion to be a journalist since he was younger (being a surgeon was also on that list but didn't make the cut). When he isn't watching Buzzfeed Unsolved, he enjoys drawing, listening to Turkish rock, playing video games, bothering his friends, and learning languages. He hopes to become a professional journalist and uplift voices and unheard stories, and becoming a lawyer. In the meantime you can find him judging people's taste in books, and going to bookstores.
