Kalimba

Think: a piano and a xylophone had a baby. It is the closest description to what this lovely instrument sounds like. Super easy to learn (there is no dearth of tutorials on YouTube) and convenient to carry (unlike a piano or xylophone), this is the perfect instrument to have to create a little holiday music.

Record Player

Record players are a thing of the past, but since when do vintage things not make up the coolest aesthetic? To make things even better, this is a record player with Bluetooth. And here is a link to a vinyl subscription that sends two record albums a month based on a person’s Spotify preferences!

Journal

Pandemic or not, everyone is going to need a place to keep track of all their New Year’s resolutions! Whether people stick with them or not is completely up to them, but a journal is always a helpful place to write down any and everything.

Whiteboard calendar

Everyone may not be making plans as frequently (or at all) as they once did, but here is a simple reminder that life has not ended! Birthdays will still roll around, as will weekends, anniversaries, and even (though these are not as loved) tests. Make it easier for someone to stay organized with an aesthetic whiteboard calendar.

Quote board

2020 has been a long year, and there has never been such a need for a little inspirtation. And the best part of a quote board? When one quote loses its glimmer of inspiration, simply put up a new one!

Disney+ subscription

Feeling nostalgic? Longing for the simpler days of the past? You can have all of the Disney movies of your childhood plus new additions like “The Mandalorian” and “The Right Stuff” with this go-to viewing subscription.

Plants

December is here, which means Georgians are beginning their winter hibernation. And with finals week closing in, even if the weather is glorious for a while, everyone’s time is being spent inside, studying. So why not bring a little life into the room? Plants = the best roommates ever.

Diffuser

Essential oils, sinus relief, and air hydration while the heater is running? That is right, everybody - this is a three-in-one!

Stationery

With school online, it may feel like there is absolutely no point in writing anything out anymore. ‘Just type it all out!’most people would say. But it is always nice to handwrite little notes and reminders to oneself! What better way to do that than with Kawaii stationary?!

Fairy lights

LEDs are so last year - but these are fairy lights. These allow the freedom to create cutesy light patterns with something that is not obnoxiously bright but festive at the same time.

Spotify/Apple Music subscription

With all this extra time that people have been spending online due to the pandemic, it is possible to at least make some of it enjoyable. Music makes everything bearable - and this way, everyone gets to choose what they want to listen to.
